A dirt road between poplars, in the Valle de Uco, Mendoza

Days

A whole day in one sub-region.

From morning to late afternoon, two houses and a long lunch within a single sub-region. Private, in a small group, with the producer at the table when he is in the cellar.

How a day works

  1. We collect you from your hotel in the morning, with a driver who knows the region’s dirt roads. The drive to the first house is part of the day, and there is time to stop where the view asks for it.

  2. The first visit is a long one. There is time to walk the vineyard before the heat, go into the cellar and taste sitting down, with no other group waiting for the room. When the producer is on the estate, he leads it himself.

  3. Lunch takes the centre of the day and has no closing time. You eat where the kitchen belongs to the house, with its own wines open on the table and the table booked the day before.

  4. After coffee, a second house, smaller, chosen for the contrast with the first. The return to the hotel is in the late afternoon, and anyone who wants to carry on to dinner will find a table already booked.

Combining days

Each day stands on its own, and two in a row already change the subject, with the Valle de Uco one day and Maipú the next, or Pinto Bandeira and then the Vale dos Vinhedos. When days add up, we adjust the base and the order of the houses, so that no road is repeated.
